If you have the screw on your YFZ450 please respond. I am thinking about getting one and would like to know if it is better. Also a picture would be great. If you have one please let me know.

I have one and wouldn't be without it. If you ever plan on adjusting that ingredient in your fuel metering system you MUST have one.

Twisting the carb to move the screw a 1/4 turn is down right rediculos.

Where abouts is the screw located that you have to twist the carb to turn the screw?

it is inset into the bottom of the float bowl. you will easily see it if you ever do any jetting changes.

So the Zip-Ty hangs down from the bottom of the float bowl? Isn't the starter in the way?

I agree, it's a must. The starter is too close to get an adjusting tool in there but a zip-ty will clear.

IF you do any air box mods, that zip screw is a must. Other wise you have to loosen the bolts on the boots, and twist the carb a 1/4 turn to get a screwdriver in there. With the zip ty, you can leave the machine running, stick your finger in and adjust, and have your low adjustments made in about 10 seconds as opposed to 10 min.!!
