Banshee Drag Pipes ???????
#1
I was woundering if anyone has a preference about drag pipes and or if they have use any on ther Banshee and if you are impressed or not. Any info would be appreciated. I have looked at a number of them and so far I like Trinitys the best and a few people I know have them and like them. And I am not interested with CPI's pipes.

why not interested in the CPI'S they are much better pip than the trinity! i ran a set of out frame CPI rag pipes and the inframes as well and for the noise and the pain of worrying about always hitting the outframes i would stick with inframes! theres not much hp gain going with the outframes and the guy racing you will be much happier.....(still being able to hear after dragging!)

Why do you dislike the CPIs? By far the best inframe drag pipe out there, and only produce a few less HP than the big, out-frame pipes. Trinitys would be near the bottom of the list as far as drag pipes go, but if a big name makes you feel better, at least go with the LRDs.
Go to P l a n e t s a n d . c o m, and you will see that the CPIs are they only game in town.

The reason that I was looking at the larger out of frame pipes was because I am going to make some heavy mods to my shee and was looking to get it up to around 450cc and a larger drag pipe like LRD or Trinity would get better proformance for a larger engine. I was looking at Trinity because it has the built on silencers where LRD I don't think does. But in respect to you responce I will now look into the out of frame CPI's.

If you are planning a 450 with heavy mods, then the CPIs are the ONLY pipe you should consider. I have seen dyno tests on a 440, 102hp banshee that made 102hp with and out of frame pipe, and with the CPI inframes only lost 1peak hp. With that kind of power, its just not worth the hastle and inconvience of an out-frame pipe. Have u checked out some opinions on P L A NET S A N D yet? By far the best collective knowlege of drag racing setups.
