Default YFZ shocks on Raptor

Well, I have been unsuccessful in getting my shocks to fit at all. I could use some help. Do I have to remove the a arms to get them in? Seems as though the springs are too big around to clear the rear side of the top a arm.

No, you have to remove some material from the bottom of the shock, and you have to flatten out the upper shock mount. Give me your email address and I will email you some pics to help you out.

Accually, the Rappy and YFZ both claim to have 9.1 inches of height, making them very close in size.
The only thing bad about the YFZ front shoks is that they are not as ajusable as the shee or Rappy,
buy there still great. You got a great deal.

How in the world did you get those for $250? When I first read this thread I was going to ask if they would even fit but hey if you got that great of a deal I would find any way to rig them on!

ok, the yfz shocks are ajustable for compression, rebound, and preload, how is the banshee and raptor more ajustable? there both just ajustable for preload. and 9.1 inches is the claimed travel, not length of shocks.

The yfz shocks adjustment suck. they don't change much of the shock, but the shocks are a huge improvement over raptor shocks. But who cares about adjustment this is an affordable way to upgrade your suspension over stock.
