I have an 01 Raptor bored .80 over, J&E Piston with a hot cam. I just rebuilt it the beginning of this summer. The reason I rebuilt it was is was smoking pretty bad. Then not long after the rebuild it started smoking again. Now it's smoking like a chimney. I have a white Bros E-series pipe on it and I have all the discs off of it. I'm wondering if that would be what's eating my valve seals and rings, due to no backpressure? It runs better without the discs. Getting ready to re-ring, so I want to solve the problem.
