Is the Raptor frame made out of the same junk they use to make the Banshee frame

I disagree man, Fat chicks are a LOT more fun than mopeds and a lot more reliable than yamaha's.
They always run when I kick em!

It seems funny to me that all the people that whine about Yamaha reliability ride Hondas. I have owned both and never had a problem with ither. I dont even personaly know anyone that has had a problem with them. So i guess the old addage holds true. Whenever you hear somone dissin a Yamaha "Consider the source"

This thread should be called the "Unwarranted Opinion Thread".

Those of you cracking all the frames must be dropping your bikes off of cliffs. I owned an '86 TRX250R and own a 2K Banshee. I have had no problems with either and yes they are ridden hard.

You see the key with the Banshee is lose the filter fast and don't even bother buying a used bike that still has the stocker. Other than that, the bike is a blast.

The key with the 250R, at least the '86/'87 models is to lose the red/white/blue and gold colors. They are just plane ugly.

There is my warranted opinion,

Skene

The July issue of 4-Wheel ATV Action says the frame is mild steel tubing with aluminum subframe. The August issue says it is high-tensile steel tubing with aluminum subframe.
The fact is nothing in this world lasts forever. I am on my third Banshee frame and could use a third Blaster frame. The swingarms are just as bad. It's the price we pay for having fun...

The reason that it would take Honda so long to come out with competition to the Raptor is because of their extensive time spent on research, testing, and development. Both the 400ex, and Rubicon virtually redefined the class when they came out, and they were in devolopment for years. I also know that when honda does come out with something new it will focus on handling, durability, and stability. I would rather ride a bike that was stable in turns, good on jumps and lightweight, then something with brute strength that can't handle worth a $hit.

And that is why you ride a Rancher, which is the lightest, best handling, best suspended sport quad out there. By the way, which classes did the Rubicon and Rancher redefine anyhow?
