Default 97 banshee problem

Hi,I have a 97 banshee that has a problem.the problem is that everytime i get on the throttle hard for like top end or ripping a burm it lags down and sometimes pops almost like it out of gas or too much gas. I know this sounds like a carb problem but, IT'S NOT!!! the carbs have been rebuilt 2 time and I even used a diffrent set form another banshee. The reeds look O.K and they have been replaced.
when the spark plugs are taken out they look dark almost black but not wet fowled. The dam thing starts fine 1or 2 kicks,it idles fine and the ECT is no longer used (the wire from the thottle box is cut and spliced together.
this is a bone bare Stock Banshee!!!
What could this be! It dosen't seen to be limited to one side it seems that it is both.
HELP!

Unplug the little black box under the gas tank. It has a triangular plug with three wires coming out of it. That will unhook the entire TORS unit.

What are the engine/intake/exhaust mods?

Second, what is your jet size?

Third, what plugs are you running?

I wouldn't count on the box fixing it. That is just how to unhook the TORS. You are running the right plugs, resistor 9 heat range.

What air filter are you running? If it is the stock filter, I have seen them come apart and cause the same problem you are mentioning. Either way, you might try cleaning it.

8 or 9 will work. That number is the heat range. Compression, fuel, timing, etc varies the heat range you need. either one will work with a stock motor.

If your carbs are fine and your electrics are fine I'd look for air leaks around the boots, intake, cylinder bases, and heads. To check that I usually use a little soapy water in a spray bottle and spray those areas while the bike is running. If the idel changes or you can see bubbles forming then you've found your problem. I worked on a friends blaster that was doing the same thing your bike is doing and found that the base gasket was faulty.

The filter Is a pro flow by pro design. And It's clean and oiled.
The dam thing starts but if revd up it will stutter a bit. It is really only fully noticable when riding it. It is WAY Boggy on the bottom and when revd up in any gear it is sluggish . The normal power of the banshee is gone it's like riding a stock blaster. If held open in any gear it almost feel like it is fowled,so at that point I would try to rev the hell out of the thing to clear it up BUT, it don't and it starts to pop, when it should be screaming.
HELP ME

DAM Jap BIKES!!!

Looks to be running rich, move the needle clip up one notch or buy new reeds. When your reeds start to get worn out it can make you run rich, and some new reeds also make you run rich and require adjusting the needle clip.
