It's like 50 something here in Sacramento. Might rain this weekend.

 

-2 this morning and, now at 2:15 in the afternoon it is 8... Not good. Heat bills will be cutting into bikes parts money after this cold winter is done.

 

thats nothing, its like -10 here with -30 wind chill

 

I braved the cold today. It has been so cold over the past few weeks that when I saw the temp. was over 30, I had to go out. Got my new Alba Emblems for the side of my pipe. They sent me a couple extra, so I tried to get the new one on today but it wasn't happening. Way to cold. So now I have a blank pipe. LOL. The cold wasn't too bad today, as everything was frozen so you had to take your time on most the trails. It was fun though. Definetly had a blast. I just wish it was April/May. And the sun would be shining.

 

i went ridin monday for about 4 hours, was in the teens here without windchill, and i accept the coughing and sniffling that came along with it [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

 

That's when I park the quad and the bikes are on the road so I can live with the cold for a while longer!
It's nice to be able to ride over the trails with everything frozen instead of coming home and having to pressure wash my clothes too! [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

 

You know how winters are here in Indiana, they go up until March then we get hammered with the snow like back in 95.

 

Yeah, I noticed that today. The quad was clean when I left, and clean when I returned. I was like what the hell. Then I remembered the 4inches of ice on every trail we hit today. That was good, but summer is so much more fun. The girls, the riding, the races. Can't wait for spring.

 

The problem here is it is either freezing outside and then when it does warm up the ground thaws and you have a muddy mess and i don't want to deal with the headaches of cleaning my quad for 2 hours...lol!

 

yeah I hear you guys, its single digits here in Syracuse, however we are supposed to get about another one to two feet tonight on top of the foot we already have. so im not goin to be on the quad, ill be on the sled.
