If you just want black rims have your stockers powercoated. You can get all four done for under $100 and it makes them 10x stronger than before.

You could have them powdercoated black and it would be ok.
Tire sizes on the Raptor are 21X7X10 on the front.
20X10X9 on the Back.
2ply is the thinest tires, 4 ply is good for dunes and mild racing, and 6 ply are thick for rough or rocky trails.

The rims on the Alba bike might be carbon fiber rims also, im not sure i have not looked at it. If you want yours black I would deff. have them powdercoated, if you paint them you will be touching them up often. Paint does not stick to alum. well at all. With powdercoated wheels you will prob never have to worry about them again. Also the ply rating on the tires is the number of layers of rubber on the tire carcass, it does not include the tread so they wont necessarly last longer. What the ply affects mainly is the sidewall strength and the load the tire can also handle. With a heavy ply rating the tires do not squat nearly as bad and are also harder to puncture. And usually because of the more plys the tire has the weight of the tire is usually greater also due to the more layers of rubber there is to the tire. What type of riding do you do? The type of riding you do will depend on the tire you want.
