hello, i have a mint condition 87 moto4 thats pretty dern nice. tonight the factory little shock in the front took a crap. i was feelin the suspension on a buddies pooplaris 325 and it was soft as heck. mine has alwasy been stiff as a board even though i only run 3.5 psi and have those shocks loosened all the way. QUESTION__---> i want to replace the front two shocks with some good shocks (like the factory ones that lasted 17 years!!!!) and shocks that ride like a dream and give a little vs. these factory bricks. can anyone tell me their feedback from some good kind to buy or can i use some other facotry yamaha shocks like off a timberwolf or whatever? i just want to get a better ride this next 17 years!! by the way.... ive NEVER had to buy shocks before so the only thing i know that is special about them is if they are nitrous canister or not. i dont know what 3 stage are or what the heck to buy . thanx much, bean

i think works performance makes oem shocks which means the shocks are built at the same specs as the originals. i dont know if anyone else makes shocks for that old of a bike.
