what would take scratches out?
#3
I hear heat (a torch) will smooth them a lot, but I have never tried it myself. The idea
of putting a torch to my plastics doesn't sit well.
I just use Formula 2000 vinyl protectrant. It doesn't remove them, but it does make them
less visible and it shines like crazy. However, it is wet and collects dust. And it doesn't
last very long. But for a impressive shine for a few days, it is great.
I only use it when going on group rides.
Everyone asks how I got it to shine like that. LOL

Don't waste your money on that PC crap! For one reason ,it will make your scratches look worse than the already are,and for a second,if you wash your bike with Simple Green,it will turn the "fixed" area's into big white patches.
What ever happened to having some good old fashion battle scars?

I wet sanded and buffed my scratches out...worked very good but now the areas are dull. I havent tried it yet but I hear MOP-N-GLO works great for the shine. Makes sense to me, when you use that stuff on floors it shines and adds a nice coat on the floor.
I dont see why it wouldnt work for the fenders
