Default GYT-R Frame guards. NEED HELP!

If you can find a 2inch piece of pipe about 3 foot long, slide it over the end of the wrench, and try to break it loose like that. Or a jackhandle will work. We need to see what those trick guards look like on that Rappy.

I dont have a pipe nearly that long, the only thing is WD40 now. Nothing is making that Hex Key twist open that bolt

I had the same problem! I tried everything and I couldn't get them off. So when I took the quad in for service I had them do it.

Dont do the hex key side, get an impact wrench the exact size of the Nut thats on the right side of the motor as the brake pedal and get that off first. Then you can tap the bolt out with a punch through the other side.

Thats the thing, that it what I am trying to do, on the other side where you are supostoo use the HEX KEY, there is just a bolt. When I try to unscrew it from there I dont have enough room to move around in the back and unscrew it. Everything is too cramped up. After im in there, secured on the bolt, I dont have any room to move around.

Well, when all else fails, get angry and start bashing, throwing, and yelling at things...that usually works for me, than some how the darn thing I'm trying to do works out...

So far I have thrown two batteries at the garage door cause of this and snapped a huge branch, it works out quite well, if WD40 fails I will take it to a shop to get put on. LOL.

If you haven't already, take off the rear fenders, the airbox, and the carbs. That will give you the room you need to get a breaker bar and socket in there. That is how I got mine off. Good luck!

Im jealous how easy it was for you. Where me here, im going crazy. Right now I dont have access to machinery. I have to do stuff manually. But once my dad comes back home. I will ask him to help me out on this. Cause I really want these frame guards installed .
