Raptor Shock Question???
#2
It is most likley the top or bottom bolt that holds the shock is to tight. Mine was squeaking and it was the bottom bolt. I loosened it a quarter turn and the squeak is gone. It tends to tighten back up every so often.

OK here's the deal. I went to Pismo yesterday and at the begining of the day I had a little squeek by the time I got home I couldn't even roll it with the paddles on without squeek squeek squeek. So I tried silicone spray, didn't help a bit. Loosened the bolt and it went away but didn't like that so I took the bolt out to have a look. I was under the impression that the shocks were mounted with bushings, there not. There like a hime (sp) joint, a little ball in the center. I turned the ball sideways in the shock and it had a little rust on it and of course was totally dry. I put grease on it while rotating it in the shock and put it back together with the bolt tight and no more squeek.

LOL Dfitz I copied and pasted that from a thread I wrote last summer, and it was a Monday. I was wondering if someone would catch that.
