Yamaha Just got Even Better

 

im not tryin to be dumb and a honda guy bashing on yamaha...but when u think they will create a "new style" of fenders and stuff....i mean i think the rappy looked good then ok if they want another close lookin race rappy with the yfz i like it ... but 3 quads the same? uhhh i think it will get old seein basically the same type of fender quads...
just my opinions...anyone else?

but i do think its 100 times better than teh warriors looks...

There needs to be a good alternative to the Blaster. Not sure if this is the answer.

Would be nice to see Yamaha put a 250F type engine in the Blaster frame. The logica step for kids is LT-80 first then Blaster then Adult quad. With the Blaster's going away with all the other two-strokes a replacement is needed. The Warrior was heavy to start with so, I don't think 30# savings is the answer. Something more the weight of the Blaster is a little safer for the smaller riders (in case of roll over.)

 

The warrior needed a facelft.They gave the Blaster its long overdue improvements last year.The Warriors sales must have started to dwindle,so they rebadge it with the name of one of their current best sellers and spice up the motor a bit.I think there going to sell a craplod of them.The Warrior was the only quad left that needed to be updated.

 

well i wouldnt mind the new motor.. but calling a redesigned warrior a raptor!! NOOOOOO.. i mean i think its stupid to have almost alot of the quads look the same. its just stupid. i think the warrior design is old school but it keep on out sellin the 300ex... that was its target!! now if they make a yfz450T.. T for trail and put a softer seat.. reverse on it and you would have a 400ex killer or get the old yz400f motor and put it in the yfz frame and reverse.. but i dont wanna see the warrior die.. just may be a few upgrades. new suspenions. or sumtin but they need to let the warrior live. make a new 400 model or so.. but it seems kinda fishy to me to. we all heard about the yfz like before any one else. so who knows will wait and see. have to talk to my dealer next time im up htere. and see

 

I think they need to change the name and leave the Raptor 660 alone. This should be called "Tomahawk 350" if you ask me.....[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

LOL!! Because they can keep it in the same tribe!! Why call it a Raptor when its not even a 660?
