Default jetting help

hi everyone ,after i got my quad dynoed i made more power with the airbox lid on i was told to go 1 size higher on the mains and move 1 clip up on the needle after i just did this i started my bike and it wont idle and blows flames out the exhaust but revs a lot smoother than before from 1/4 throttle to full throttle
i have 27.5 pilots 3 turns out needles on third clip now and 150/155djmains
i think my problem is with the idle circuit but also when i pulled the carbs i noticed my choke cable part inside the carb has all corrosion in it and my choke cable is stiff
how can i free this up do i have to strip the carbs
that may also be my problem
the only other thing i can think of is when i fitted the intake boots to the head the o ring wasnt sitting right, if this doesnt seal properly will it cause this problem
please help me
thankyou

Sounds like you pretty much have it figured out.
I use silicone spray on the choke plunger and check the spring, they corrode and break. Clean it up real good and replace the spring, I've matched them up and got them from the hardware store.
If you have any intake leaks it won't idle for beans.
3 turns out on the mixture screw is a lot with those pilot jets, around 2 1/4 is where I would think it should be.
