Default Axle Question???

Whenever I ride my raptor at slow speeds the rear axle makes a squeaking noise and whenever I speed up it stops. Does this mean I need to replace my bearings or what?

Thanks in advance!!!

Default Axle Question???

Are you sure it's the axle? Swingarm pivot bearings will squeak when the go bad too. I also find that when I don't spray my rear shock with WD, it squeaks sometimes when I first sit on it. Maybe you're pads are sticking your rotor. If you can't narrow the sound down to anything else, then that's a good possibility. Especially if it's an 02 model. I redid my Feb. 02's axle bearings last summer, and man, the old ones were pretty much shot.

Default Axle Question???

check out the rear chock mount under the seat. mine squeaks when it gets dry and dusty. It is just because of the bushings and the rubber un against the other parts.
