Default Ok guys, need some help

BY the end of the week my blaster is no longer going to be a 200. IM going to get a 240 kit put on it but im wondering what all im looking at. When you get a 240 installed what all do you need? i know it comes with the head and all that but what about carbs, pipes, and air filters, do you need to change any of that? I have FMF pipes and stock carbs with a K&N. Will i need to get new carbs installed as well?
thanks for the help

Default 240 Kit

Who are you having build your 240 kit or are you buying the bolt on kit? If your having it built be sure you have it done by someone who knows what they are doing. I had my kit built through CT. To get the best performace out of the motor you will need to put on a larger carb, which means you will also need to install an oil injector block off kit if you already haven't. I run a 34 mm carb. The 240 kits need a lot of air. Because of this you will have to run with your airbox lid off. Since I run in dusty areas I recomment a UNI 2 stage filter. Also buy good air filter oil. I think the name of what I use is called maxima FFT. I have never had dirt enter the inside filter stage with this oil. You should be ok with the FMF pipes and K&N. With the lager carb also invest in a good intake boot. I believe pro design makes one for the blaster. With the larger carb and the stock intake boot you could have a crack develope in the boot over time. I say this from experience. Good luck!

thanks.
I was also looking at the CT kit, but i havn't yet decided. I also have bent my swing arm beyond repair so i think i might have to invest in one of those first.
