Default raptor pipes

we ride prentice cooper state park during the winter months.(its the only place to ride between jan. and april. anyway they have a 86dbs at 50 feet limit.i need a new pipe my gytr pipe is to loud.i was looking at the procircuit t-4 exhaust.it says it is us forestry approved.does anyone know what the dbs are on this pipe or any other good ones.

it didnt tell the dbs on all of the pipes but it did say the stock raptor pipe is 92dbs.how the h@$$ do they expecet me to go lower than the stock dbs.

You might look into the Yoshi with the TEC inserts. There way down on the dbs.

thanks i have that copy somewhere.it shows all of them between 100-105.the pro circuit t-4 was 102.i dont know how the local rangers are saying 86dbs

86 dbs at 50 ft. !!! Are you sure about those numbers??? I know the USFS is testing at 20 feet (45 degree angle). I don't think most quads with stock exhaust would pass that 86 dbs. The new fed standard is like 96 dbs at 20 ft. The nubers in the Dirtwheels shootout were also tested at 20 feet. If they stick to those numbers, I'd recommend finding a new riding area! Haz

Also, the "forestry approval" is just a stamp verifying USFS approval of the spark arresting device. Doesn't have anything to do with sound levels.

[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/img] i dont understand how it works.would the dbs not be lower at 50 ft than 20 ft. 50 ft is what they have posted on there web site, and i know about 5 people who have asked to leave.( they didnt even check mine. i was told not to come back untill i have a quiter pipe.i run a gytr. i didnt think it was that load.
