How much is too much?

A friend of mine wanted to run my setup on her rappy, Wiseco 11:1 & Stage 1 HC and bought both of these, but after reading about broken rods, pistons melting and jetting issues, she has decided to get rid of this stuff. So now I have these parts laying around, let me know if you are interested in giving them a good home. Personally Im glad she wants to get rid of them because she wanted me to install these parts and I wouldnt want to feel responsible if something happened to her engine.

With those modifications you shouldn't have any worries about breaking your rod, melting your piston, or jetting. When you get into port and polishing, higher compression, bigger cams, and bigger bore that you have to worry about those. I don't need any of those but I just wanted to say that those problems shouldn't be a worry with the mods you were planning.

Cali- I would install the parts. Just take a dremmel tool to the sharp edges of the piston to help do away with the detination points and jet up. Those modds were not cause me to lose a moments sleep.

Well I told her my quad is running strong and its been a couple of months I also got rid of all the sharp edges of the piston (not much) and Im running fine. Its just that shes like those kind of people that hear something bad about a product or something and they wont try it out. I told her about these things Ive seen because I didnt want her to complain later on if something happens to her raptor. When I adjusted the valves on her raptor I called her like 5 times while she was riding to make sure all was good. I just get paranoid working on other people's quad, but on mine I dont care cuz if I break it I pay it and its my stuff
