Default blaster vs. cr

I've gotta call bs on your friend with the 300. Theres no way it will beat a 125, unless its just a ratted out junker. The 300ex make maybe 20hp....if your lucky. And any respectable 125 mxer makes atleast 32. No contest.

I would venture to say that a 300 ex has more along the lines of 15 hp than 20...and there is NO WAY that it will out run a 125 mx'r
IMO

Sorry dude but if you want to keep up with or slightly beat 125s your gonna need a hell of a lot more than a pipe lol. Your gonna need a full race port job, stroker or long rod, bigger carb, better pipe, head work, high compression for use of high octain fuel, taller gearing, larger rear wheel size, extended swing arm to put the power to the ground, and some flawless riding capabilities. Oh and the best reed valve on the market. Basically your gonna need to deck your Blasty out all the way.

Default blaster vs. cr

My lil bro had a CR 125 and a TRX 250 R and I have a Shee, when the Shee was stock, he had his CR here and we raced and the 125 smoked my shee about 3.5 links or so... Then he got his 250R and it smoked the 125 about 2 links or more, then I sent my Shee to CT racing and when it was put back together he had sold the CR and so we ran the Shee and the TRX and I smoked him about 4-5 links --we shut them off at about the beginning of fifth gear or so because the race would well be over....
So I hope this post helps you realize that you are going to not only get umiliated by the CR, but that if you want to stay competitive with your bro, you may as well get rid of the old 200cc air cooled 2-stroke and look into a more faster bike..... BECAUSE there is no way that you are going to be anywhere close to it!! If you put a 240 kit in it and extend the swingarm, and port the cylinder, and deck it out it may be competitive w/da CR but then you could have bought a way faster bike and so forth anyway.... That is my .02/worth

i have seen this race plenty of times, 2 of my best friends race all the time, the cr always wins, and its an old one too, i'm saying your gonna get spanked on the blaster, but if it was a really short race, and your brother wasnt very experienced on the cr maybe you'd have a chance but i'm saying the cr. I have witnessed this race plenty of times and the cr will win, but the blaster is still an overall great and fast wheeler (especially off the line for only a 200) so still think about that blaster...
