What do you guys think they will do with the blaster, hear 2 strokes wont be made before to long. Do you think they might keep it with a 4 stroke motor in it since they just updated it a year or 2 ago.

Im not impressed with the raptor 350 at all. I know that yamaha wanted to make a machine that would be very affordable and reliable. But it still uses the slow air-cooled engine that the warrior uses, and the same front set-up as the warrior. In my opinion the greatest weakness of the warrior was the underpowered engine, and the only thing that has kept it in the game has been its 6-speed tranny. Yes it does weigh less than the warrior, that does help, but I still think it will be slow. I don't think that honda will be the least bit scared of it taking the 300ex's spot becuase they most likely have new plans for a mid-size atv that will be much more updated than the warrior...I mean Raptor 350. Don't get my wrong, yamaha is way better than honda when it comes to quads, but I really think that yamaha should have made a more updated 350 with a faster engine. I know it would have cost more, but I only like new quads to be new and updated. Plus I think they should have made a whole different theme for it. Raptor 350, c'mon Yamaha you can do much better than this.

i'm definetely not impressed with the Raptor 350... fist off it's almost IDENTICAL but for a few .3 incehs here n .4 incehs there...same engine same dimentions(almost) warrior has more ground clearance plus i bet if 1 was to vs a warrior it'd b a deadeven race...and i bet that yamaha wanted to make a raptor 350 as a race bike... cuz warrior is a trail bike... i eman they made a good atempt n i just don't think that yamaha needs another 350 on the market.. enoguh ppl already dis the warrior... the raptor 35 0aint gonna b ne dif... and 20 lb's whoopdi freakn doo... i could care less... but im sure those noob 12 yr olds that wanna start racing will....

IM BUYING ONE. honda fans can say what they want to, but the warrior motor isnt weak, and it has good hop-up potential. and as long as it can spank a 300ex (in which it always has) and now it will handle better than one, than i like it . i love my 03 blaster, so i know ill like the raptor 350 just as much "when" i get it.
