Basically this new Raptor 350 is going to be a good quad for beginners and the women.

Hot women.

But in reality, it should be a good quad. Alot lighter then the Warrior, and the looks of the Raptor....can't be that bad.

I just looked at the pics and specs. Yamaha did the exact same thing with their raptor 90. It is indeed the warrior with new plastic. If you compare the specs, it is only 22 pounds lighter and a little shorter. I think most of that can be attributed to smaller tires and a different rear shock. The rear shock adds .400 more rear travel, but is preload adjustable only. Dont get me wrong, I am not trying to down grade the warrior or 350 raptor. I had a warrior, it was a good dependable bike and had good power. I actually considered putting raptor plastic on mine, but came across a sweet deal on a z400. Glad I did. Night and day difference, even with the mods my warrior had. I am just raging on Yamaha for being so cheap and not actually building a bike from scratch for the 350 raptor. But all you warrior owners can probably just buy the 350raptor plastic and bolt it right on without modifing anything.

Here we go, bigger is not always better, i could care less how powerfull the engine will be, i know how powerfull the current warrior is and its plenty for what i do. no i am definetly not a biginner at all, ive been riding for years..but the new raptor 350 is not a "beginner quad" iether. it is a mid-level Sport atv, not High-performance. i just like the quads i can actually have fun on, and afford at the same time. hence my buying a raptor 350.

and those of you who think its the same exact thing as a warrior.... go to the thread called "Raptor 350 vs Warrior" and read what i wrote. im too tired to type it again lol. they changed more than just the plastics.
