Im 16 155lb. and I am going from a blaster to a Banshee. I would, you don't want to get something slow because you will always want more power. I would... I am!

dude...i think you guys are overexagerating just a tad bit...i mean i used to ride my banshee when i was 9, 5'7 130 lbs so its not really that "insane" or "deadly" and you're not going to kill yourself unless you're a retard. for those of you who don't ride dirtbikes as well, you should then you will know how foolish you sound saying that a stock banshee is fast...try the sx525 for example, 525 cc's of pure mx power, in a 235 lb package...thats neerly 3 times the power to weight ration of a yfz...
so, what i am getting at is most anyone can handle a banshee that is over 10 years of age...it could possibly be unsafe depending on the kids size and skill, but a 16 year old can definately ride that

go for it. I started riding on a 400ex. Then i bought my own. When I was first looking at a four wheeler, i saw a banshee on the side of the road. I stopped and looked at it. It had pro-flow filter, fmf fatties, 20cc cool heads. The guy said that he got it up to 112mph. Then he asked "do you want to ride it?" Now, I am 15, 5'9" and i wiegh 125lbs. When i got on that thing, I almost **** myself. Luckily, i rode it on long wet grass. After thinking about it, i knew i wanted it, i just couldn't afford it. I am sooo mad i didn't get it, but i geuss thats life. So I say go for it man, but be careful. You will never get tired of the power on those.
