I'm not sure about the crankcase breather. I would suggest getting the pipe and jet kit from ct and then order the K&N kit from another place. Its usually cheaper by 30 bucks or more. Thats what I did, saved me 30 bucks after all the shipping costs.

BigScary, You posted this in another thread somewhere, but it is wrong. I dont know where you got your information from but you should check your source. The ct and alba pipes share no parts or any other similarities other than a supertrapp disc cap. The ct is also availible with a closed cap. If you dont want to believe me then look up some pix of the 2 pipes and compare them side by side. I have some good side shots of the ct on my photo page.

they look very similar to me........and there was a thread in the past that said that Alba, CT, and Graydon where all made by the same company.....

Alba Pipe
CT pipe

the only difference that I see is the can on the alba is it has a different can and it turns down a little ....the CT doesn't have the bend there.....

but the headpipes look identical...

IDK.....maybe I am blind!

The head pipes are different. Take a look at the point where the 2 pipes go into 1. On the CT it is much farther towards the front of the bike. The alba doesnt join until almost to the carbs. The graydon and ct headpipes are identical, but the silencers are different. The alba has nothing in common with either of them.

Not a 4-stroke guy, but Allen Knowles of CT is not known as the Knowledge master for no reason!! I would definitely go with CT before Alba, or any of that other stuff on the market.... That dude will stand beind his product and knows his stuff!! I am very proud of the motor he built for me.... SHEE runs like a scawlded dawg!!
He has successfully been in the business for over 20 years for a reason....... He is the only builder I ever speak to anymore........................
