Default Dyna Ignition

Does anyone on here have the Dyna Adjustable ignition? I am wanting to get it down the road. I was just wondering if anyone has any personal experience with it. I would like to set my launch limiter at 4000 and my nitrous activation at 4500 so I could hold the throttle wide open and then have the nitrous hit right when I launch. I would also like to set up a shift light to my tach.

Also, what do you think the best 300 ft gearing would be for a Raptor with a +4 or +6 swingarm and 21-12-8 Extreme 8 paddle Haulers? I am trying to get my bike to be as fast as I can on the stock internalled motor.

Thanks,

Wall

Default Dyna Ignition

I have the Dyna FS programmable on my Banshee. I haven't used any of the features you've referred to, though I plan to in the future.

I know of at least one person who uses the dyna with a programmed launch limit of about 8800 rpm on a Banshee. Don't know anyone using it to active nitrous yet.

I do like the ability to program different curves, and change between the four with a flip of a switch.

One of the better things I've done to upgrade my quad.

I have a friend using a Dyna on a 770 Raptor, but has done anything with it yet.

regards,
buttermilk

I am running the dyna on my banshees. You can do everything that you are asking. You can set a holeshot limiter, and two on/off window switches, rev limiter, and some (don't know if the raptor is one or not) have a tach output.

It is EASY to wire these things in. The only thing about using it to control a N2O system is that your RPM's won't drop below the "on" point when you shift, so it will be spraying while shifting. Override trannies, if one is available for the raptor, will solve this problem. Also, I would think 4500 rpm is a little low to be spraying it. You have to be sure that you don't vapor lock it and blow a piston or break a rod. Ask THEBOM about that one!
