Right paddles for a 686 Raptor?
#13
There is a reoccurring pattern here, everyone from the southwest recommends no more than 8 paddles and the Oregon people are 9-10 paddles. I have noticed this pattern more than a few times on tire size and paddle count. I have even heard people recommend tires that I know didn't work for me up here and they seem to work great down south. Anyone else notice this? Is the sand so different there?
On a different note, the one most important thing that I look for in a paddle is that it has a round profile and not real square. 8" wide wheels are your best friend

Alot has to do with the sand and what kind of riding.

the haulers or the gators?? we dont get any wear on our paddles we only ride on teh sand with them we put them on when we get there and take them off before we go ive got 5 trips on my new haulers and i still have the little strings on the end of the paddles

I got some turbo paddles for sale, for the price u cant beat them they have no wear on them i jsut got haulers for better traction for hill climbs and the turbo paddles dont have the glued on paddles they are all formed as one with hard rubber.. if you dont like that skat track has some paddles that are good for sand and hard packed dirt i cant remember what they are called but they look like the haulers but they dont have a paddle they hav elike a sideways I that is straight up and down mad of a very hard rubber compound and they have the stringy tar that goes accross them for better traction
