if its not a turbo then dont worry about it.

My eclipse has just about everything you could possibly have done to it. I dont want to list them all so i will just list major ones
upgraded turbo
ported/polished head w/all ARP head studs, head bolts, HKS metal head gasket
evo engine swap
stand alone managment system
3 inch turbo back exhaust w/ no cat
2 3/4 inch intercooler piping

you get the idea. Im pretty sure my yfz would kick its butt in 1/8 mile since im only front wheel drive. But i know the car would win in the 1/4

 

Do you have the body modded too? Or is it a sleeper?
That's a sweet car. The Eclipse has always been my favorite import car.

 

i kno i dont have a Yami but i have raced a Caprice w/ a 305 engine,a chevy truck,a dodge ram,i 03 toyota carolla,nissan sentra,and a 400ex,the only 1 who came close to me in 500ft was the 400ex,we ended up neck and neck,if we would have raced further he would have got me slighty on top end

 

oh yea i raced a street bike,i think it was a Suzuki 900 or 1000cc

whatever it was he beat me while ridng a wheelie the whole time,i wish they made quads a high revving engine like a street bike

 

I raced a awd eclipes with alot of mods not sure of the exact build...but we raced about 500ft I toyed with him most of the length but but right when I was shifting to 4th I clutched hard and pasted the finish line on the back wheeles[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img] I've also raced a cj5 w/a 327 on a muddy hill climb...but now that I have some hoosiers for the back I'm really looking forward to spanking some imports "I really can't stand cars with coffee can mufflers I think import cars sound like poop...no offence to import drivers it's just not my thing"

 

IF you want to go fast in a car go v8 with the exception of 1 v6 GRANDNATIONAL



IMPORTS ARE THE BIGGEST FLUKE I HAVE EVER SEEN DO YOU PEOPLE KNOW HOW SLOW YOU ARE REALLY GOING AND HOW STUPID YOU LOOK WITH ONE OF THOS BIG WINGS ON THE BACK

I raced my 02 Trail Blazer with my Stock Raptor and Smoked it in a 1/8. Then in a 1/4 there so close. I have also raced a new Grand Prix GT and the same results but I also beat it in a 1/4 by about 2 quad lengths. We then lined the Trail Blazer and that up and the Trail Blazer beat the Grand Prix pretty easy. Trail Blazers are fast for SUV's

 

Also raced a Jaguar XJ8 or whatever and beat him in a 1/8 but not even close in a 1/4 he smoked me. But I had to bust my Sled out and smoke him because it pi**ed me off

i agree, a kid on the bus thinks imports are the best thing ever. The fastest import at a local track only went like 60mph in the 1/8, while my dad's f-150 4x4 with flowmasters ran 65 mph. A kid on my bus thinks there's no way a banshee can keep up with an import, even though i'm turning 7.9s in the 1/8 at over 80mph.
