It sounds like the valves. When I had had my Raptor, I adjusted the valves for the first time in about 8 months and it almost threw me off of it the first time I rode it after the adjustment. Those characteristics seem alot like how mine was acting. It shouldnt be the jetting if its still stock, but then again if you've only had 12 hours on it and the valves need adjusting something wasnt put together right....

 

if you just bought it... it's on the dealership to fix it w/out cost.... minimum 6mo warantee right?

Dealer got back to me today, carbs were out of adjustment. Guy tells me that one ride in the sand welded one of the bolts on the carb, so he cannot adjust[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/img] They are gonna warrenty them, and give me a new set of carbs. I wash my bike after I am done in the sand, what else can I do to stop this from happening???

your dealer is just shooting his mouth off. the carbs probably had a problem before you hit the sand.
