Default Craycraft 686!!!

I finally got to talk to Bob, and got everything set up. I'm tearing down the Raptor Saturday, and I'm going to ship it Monday! I'm running the Signiture 686!

Ross True 11:1(10.75:1) - (I get to be the first Sig 686 on a Ross piston from Bob)
Stage 2 Cam
1mm Oversized Valves
Kibblewhite Valve Springs
Port/Polish
Bore/Hone
Gaskets
3 Angle Valve Job
Heat/Friction Coatings

Basically the works. I have to get ahold of a shop this week, and try to get something set up to replace the rod. I'm hoping I can get the aftermarket rod, and rebalence the crank, to make sure everything is bullet proof.

It's going to take about 3-4 weeks to get everything back and get it put together. I'm pretty sure I'm going to be very happy with this set up.....what do you guys think!?!!?!?!

I'm pretty sure you know this, but you wouldn't want to replace the rod with another stock rod...almost defeats the purpose.

Sounds like a nice set-up.

How much was it? And, how long did he say he'd have your engine?

I'm in the game for this type of upgrade and, called Trinity. They said they'd need it for a week and, it would be all done and, ready to bolt on and, ride when it came back to me w/ nothing left to due except re-asseble,,,,, for $1599.

I'm not sure i want to bore my new 2004 bike though. I'd like to see if i can get all these things done except the bore. I'd rather just run a 11:1 stock size piston. I wonder how it would effect the price? What difference could 26cc make anyway. I think it is the combo of the cam, port, valve job, and, higher compression that makes the power.

How much more would it cost to get a good 727?
