Anyone have a Trinity 686?
#24
So Does anyone have one or, is this a popularity contest for Cray Craft. Not downing them but, i'd like to hear some comparisons. It seems everyone has Craycraft here and, i want to make sure the reason isn't just a follow the leader. I know Trinity is pretty big and, well know. I can't imagine them doing bad on Raptors and, good on Banshee's and, ruining there rep. They are cheaper than CrayCraft and, promise a week turn around (once they have it) which i know Craycraft couldn't. Thanks!

Captbags- I had a trinity 686 on my 2001 raptor. They (trinity) did it in early 2002. Claimed i was going to get 63 HP. Well i got 44hp and raptorboy673 and dollarbills cleaned my clock with there home made versions. After that Craycraft ATV's were started. Jerry Craycraft has been on the car side for over 30 years. Trinity is a expensive joke. MichealAZ, Me, Airraptor and alot more had trinity's and now have something else. At FSW2 my craycraft 686 that anyone can buy dynoed 67HP on a friendly dyno. On the same dyno 6 hours earlier trinity's best 727 with FCR's and Harry's (owner of trinity) midas touch produced 62HP. By all means you should shop around and call builders before you decide to go with anyone.

There is nothing wrong with a craycraft motor in my opinion as far as service and reliablility, I just don't think overall they are as fast as a Kenz bike from what I've seen at Glamis. The only Raptors that I've seen at Glamis that will run with my 440 now are Kenz built bikes and of course Sparks, but you'll wait a long time for a Sparks bike where Kenz turnaround is much much quicker.
