I just finished watching the world series of paintball on ESPN2. Earlier a spelling bee was on. Later I'm watching poker and I think I'll finish the night w/ a little figure skating. For the life of me I can't figure out why this crap is on a sports network and I can't see one quad related thing on T.V. You would think w/ the success of dirtbikes and "extreme" sports we might see more quads but these programmers are fools. Just venting after the exciting finish of the paintball world series? I know it sucks that they put that crap on espn

i hear ya dude..makes you wanna start your own show. i thought a show where they keep traveling to diffrent riding areas and rating them. showing the highlights of paticular areas. mix in some visits to motorcross tracks interviews with pro and amateur riders. highlighted quads...part/accesory reviews...essentialy what the mags do.

hell ATVconnection should do it. That would be awesome. they could then promote their website and sponsors etc. if they did'nt jump on this opportunity i would expect a mag like Dirtwheels. Synergy between all... internet, magazines, tv,video...Movies even.

anyways we get Fuel tv on satelite here and that is mostly surfing and skate boarding....more and more they're adding Dirtbike stuff but your lucky if you stumble upon it. can you imagine...Fuel tv...and hardly a gas powered vehicle to be found. lol

A spelling bee could be a sport .... yunno throw a bunch of old tires on the ground with all the letters in the alphabet in different tires and launch contestants in the air with a big catapult and they would have to land in the tire that contains the letter they need in the correct order .. ok ok yea i'll admit thats retarded ~ a spelling bee on espn.. i like the idea of paintball on espn and i saw a quad show on tv about a month ago but i forgot what station. about poker on espn thats just plain dumb.

 

Poker is on ESPN because guys like to watch it and the ratings go through the roof for ESPN. It's all about ratings in TV land, and if you don't think The World Series of Poker isn't huge just wait and see how much Harrahs pays for the rights for it since Binnions Horseshoe closed down. ESPN pays a crapload of money to have the broadcast rights to it..........and I for one like to watch it, but the Spelling Bee, that one I can't figure out[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

 

I personally like watching spelling bees...BAHAHAHA are you kidding?? that is the dumbest thing ive ever heard! Who watches spelling bees anyway, i dont think even the nerdy people watch that, lol!
