Stock for Stock the YFZ is faster. But as you said, with all the mods, that Raptor is.

Austin,

I can feel your pain in that you have invested alot into your quad. Ask yourself this question before you pitch the Raptor. Do you really think the YFZ 450 frame would have soaked up the hit any better and avoided the frame ding you got on the raptor? Last time I looked, the YFZ and Raptor had mild steel tubular frames of similar geometry. True, the YFZ boingers are better but not that much. The 60 or so lb. weight difference would not have prevented your frame bending. Face it, your aggressive riding style will eventually bend a Raptor, YFZ, TRX, etc... frame. Have it bent back at a body shop and put gussetts on the frame.

You will get 10 cents on the dollar for all the mods you have in the raptor and spend a mint tricking out a YFZ. Save your money and the aggravation of bending the YFZ frame back into place. Glad to hear you didnt eat it after such a hard hit.
