Default I did a backflip!!!

I did a flip on my bike this last summer and all I had to do was wear a sling for six weeks to repair my seperated shoulder, broken shoulder blade, busted ribs and crushed ego. Sorry no vid. Thank goodness I put all my gear on before I go and do something stipid like that!

I believe that was an april fools joke. As far as I know no one has yet documented a backflip on a quad.

i didnt think i could but there was this huge jump in the middle of the high tension wires and i hit it 5 on on yfz. man i was gonna pi$$ my pants but i was able to do it. OMG i cant wait to get the film developed. make a jump that is at 90 degrees and if u hit it staright on and then punch the throttle at the last 2 feet of the jump u wil have enough air to do it.

Here's my idea for a backflip. The ramp is a corkscrew(like in skate boarding) with a huge section cut out of the middle. It will be cut from the spot where you are going in the right direction. The landing ramp will have a bigger radius, in an attempt to catch you softly. I am thinking about trying it this summer.

fidge, what kind of calculations are you coming up with? also is a foam pit in the future for testing the flip. that is quite a bit of weight to be flinging around (4 wheeler + you), let me know, i would also like some pics if/when you do it, if you dont die first..

i wish there was a way to tell the age of the members so the adults would not have to wast their time going into a thread written by a child. its great that we look up all the info this site has to offer i just wish we did not have to deal with all the childish comments or threads of the time wasters.
