I was racing some today and i got just plain beat by a stock raptor i was PIsed man whats the deal im running like big scary or someone said 148 150 stick pilot 3 turns out on a/f and third clip position

man im just dont know whats up anyone live close to me that could maybe give it a look and help me out
its just wearin me out i used to be able to out run a yfz450 and today i got smoked man all my friends were like man whats wrong with your quad. I didnt have a clue

would the stock tires be better in the sand then the mud sharks seems like i get a good hole shot and when i shift into second theres a little lag and then it will go

does the .190 up front and the 160 in the rear (wheels) make that much of a difference (weight)

THIS TIME please someone respond just give me a some feedback i need help i went from smoking yfz's to getting beat by stock raptor. i barley beat my girlfriends stock z-400

 

Aren't mud sharks some pretty heavy tires? That won't help.
What jet kit are you using? That jetting doesn't go with what's in your sig. (GYT-R)
I'm not that happy with the stage 1 cam in mine, I thought it ran better with the stock cam.

 

yea the mud sharks were were as heavy as a set of rear blaster stock tire and wheel and hub

i just hate when i shift into second its has a delay before it gets it

 

what is your elevation..........I'm damn near at sealevel?

What did you change fromt he time you were beating YFZz to now? That is where I would look first.

 

i had 165/170 mains and stock tires thats about it

 

148/150 are dynojet numbers but you say you have a GYT-R jet kit. What's up with that?

 

i got jets from a gyt-r kit, dyna jet, and i also ordered some from magic racing all in a baggie is there really any difference between the two

 

Yup, lots of differance.


Can you try using the stock tires again, or even some similar?.....process of elimination.
