What atv to buy?
#1
I am new to this forum and I have a question? I'm 14 210lbs around 6ft and have been riding atv's for 2 years. What 4wheeler should I get? I will be riding in a few trails, wide open pastures, small tracks and dunes at Little Sahara. I want something tha will keep up with my friends raptor (which he drives the heck out of). I am looking more at used atvs right now. Any response will help alot. Thanks

My friend also has been riding for about 2 years. He started out on a big bear and I started on my old honda. I think I am going to stick to four strokes, because I have not hade much experience working or riding on a 2 stroke. The only 2 stroke I have ridden was my friends dads quadzilla.

The Raptor or the YFZ are both great choices I have purchased them both in the last 2 years........I've been riding for @10 years and had alot of different quads. These two quads are awesome in the dunes, even stock no need for paddle tires. So if you want to keep up get a Raptor or a YFZ 450.

Considering his side I would think he would be able to handle a raptor or banshee easily. If he rides as much as I did when I was 14 he should have more than enough experience (I rode about everyday). If you do get a rappy take it easy on it until you get used to it. Any of the 400's would work great too.
