Tell your friend with the Rappy he need to tune his bike better, he should stomp that Z. Gearing and jetting is why most people get beat...

im not being biased but raptors torque is really good but too much for hill climbing. They bite way to much that they lugggg and sometimes flip back. The banshee and raptor should take the z 400. If the banshe has stock tires and u race him in the dirt he will get take off but youll catch him quickly then at top end smoke him. The raptor should win from start.

The plug being tan doesnt always mean his jetting is right on, in fact most people just check at WOT which means you dont have any idea about the mid and low. The jetting for the low and mid are very important too when racing, expecially up a hill. He could try lower gearing too to help him get that jump and maybe even that extra pulling gear on the hill.

I have a z400 with a procircuit full exhaust k&n proflow kit and jetted.I can beat piped raptors at pismo comp hill. but it only 2 gear start shift to 3 not a big hill. when i have raced them .at the flats i could pull the hole shot and lead until 4 gear then the raptor would leave me behind by 5 - 6 bikes at least. but thats not the story with my 450r

He wants to put bigger teeth front...he thinks he has too much torque anyway..plus the kid on the z is a really good rider..

My Quads Both run perfect I think. Banshee goes 78.4 and Raptor goes 77. I consider my self being a pretty good rider and also a better rider then the Kid that has the Z. I think I will be able to take him with either one of my quads but I just wanted some input on what you all think. The Raptor takes the lead against my Banshee almost everytime but then when they both hit top end the Banshee comes back inch by inch. I also weight alot less then the Z Rider. I weigh 135 140 and he weights around 210

LMFAO

You dont think they will do that. Every quad runs different you know. There can be 2 of the same quad, same day bought and everything else and 1 could be 4 mph different then the other. My quads do run a little faster then others and they really do that. GPS is pretty accurate if you ask me and Thats exactly what they were timed at on GPS. I have no reason to lie. I'm 135 140 pounds and on cment thats what they do.
