i think the new raptor 350 would fit the bill for ya. it is based on the warrior, with a bullitproof engine!!!! it has a desent suspencion, and desent power. great price, on a solid quad. i know its new, but it is basically a modern looking warrior, with a slight suspencion upgrade.
good luck

as you're older than most newer riders though im sure you've got the maturity to handle a Raptor 660, but you may lack the skill.

My YFZ450 is a nice quad. It's my first quad, but not my first OHV. I guess it depends on what price range youre looking at. I've never ridden the Raptor 350 so I wouldnt know, but 350 is a good size motor. Have you ridden other OHV's besides your Polaris? There's my 2 cents.

Tou already learned an important item, don't buy a polaris. The fact that your in the Yami forum shows your a fast learner. That rappy looks like a great machine! This machine will outlast you and still have some worth left when you trade up to its big brother. This is a great starter class.

i have been on an older polaris 2x4 and a trailblazer i kinda liked the tb but it didnt have half the power of my scrammy i have only had my scrammy for a week now and i had to have it put in the shop to rejet the carb for a new pipe and silencer and a stupid neighbor turned the screws on my carb tryin to fix it lol so i will get it back this week i will be shopping for a new yamaha in like a month or two as soon as i figure out what i want

heh.... the yfz is a lil far from yer average sport atv.... but it's still hella fun... depending on how much experience you have with any/all off road vehicles... they yfz is still a good choice. the raptor 350 is probably a lil too small... as you'll get tired of it within a year or so... depending on how often you ride it... the 660 rappy might be a lil too much to handle, as the added weight, higher center of gravity, and loads of power might be a bad combo for ya in the beginning. So yer sitting w/ either a shee..... or a yfz.... take yer pick....
