Default Tach for a Raptor?

Does anyone know of a small yet easy to see tachometer for the Raptor? I'd like to find one that is made for a single cylinder engines like our quads. One that is not a rip off would help too. I think it would be awesome to know what we are reving to at all times!

Also, does anyone know what the Raptor revs to, what the redline is and, when the rev limiter comes on???

Some tachs i've seen only go to 8k (I think we rev higher than that) and, most are for cars or, muti-cylinder applications.

Thanks!!!!

Well, mine isn't very small and cost $225, but I like it. It is designed for the Raptor (one cylinder) and simply plugs right into the ignition. The Raptor's revlimiter is at 9k. My tach shows up to 10k. There are pics in my gallery.

Thought you might say that about the price, lol, but I had to have it. I got it from Ron Woods Racing and it is an Autometer w/ a white backlight, lol

Check Stewart Warner shift light. It goes to 13,000 rpm set shift light and works on 1 cylinder motors. I'm going to try one. I will have to come up with a way to mount it. LOOK

Those are some sweet tachs there. I wish they had some pics next to a bike or quad to actually see the size of them.

Tiny Tach

I haven't tried this tach but from reading the info, there are a few things I don't like. Non-replaceable battery, 2.5 sec update time, and unspecified max rpm. But it's only 40 bucks.

Dfitz - how do you know it works on 1 cylinder bikes? I wonder if it is water proof seeing it will get killed in washes and, and, eat sand at dunes!
