Default MuZ Skorpion ignition

This is the german bike the raptor motor came from, the rev limit is 10,000. By replacing the raptor ignition with it a.) would it hurt the raptor b.) would it raise the rev?

(A) Probably no, (B) yes.

But you could probably get the Dyna cheaper and program it to do what you wanted.

I wonder if it would even work because of the reverse stuff on the Raptor.?.?

But I agree the DYNA would be a better option anyway.

biggun, white bros and yoshimura make a cdi box for the raptor that raises the limit to 10k and modifies the curve a bit. they run about 179-199. the dyna-fs has 4 programmable curves and rev limit with tach output and programmable nitrous or shift light outputs but runs about 350-400 plus the programming kit. the vortex cdi has 10 programmable curves with programmable rev limit and comes with a handlebar switch to change curves and runs about 400 plus the programming kit.


there ya go, thats a summary on the cdi options for the raptor. there is also some cdi units being sold on ebay, dunno if they are any good, i would go with one of the name brand units depending on what ya are looking for.
