Who would you put money on?
So my good friend is challenging me to a friendly race in two weeks at the dunes. I want to see what kind of predictions you have.
In the blue corner we have 2001 Raptor with a 11:1 piston, stage 1 hotcam, ported head, K&N filter w/o airbox, Sparks pipe, nology plug wire, +4 swingarm, and 20" 8 paddle haulers
In the red corner we have a 1989 250r, its around a 300 or 310 with a +4mm stroke, esr cool head, esr pipe, 39 carb, K&N w/o airbox, ported, +8 swingarm, 22" 10 paddle ultra-lite haulers.
What do you think?

Wow, thats a really hard race to call. I've raced some pretty hoped up 250r's and beat em by at least a bike length, I don't recall losing to a 250r yet. Thats all the experience I have of the 250r to go by. I think he might have a little edge on you and the ultralites always help a noticable bit. I'm curious of the outcome...dont forget to post back! If its a well tuned ESR motor you are SOL!!! Ask anybody at the Aledo Nationals last year how bad that Orange and White 350 is(I think it was a 350). He would half track me on the back two wheels. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif[/img][img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img]

The ESR 310 will blow your mind, and blue corner doesn't stand a chance with the mods you listed against the mods you listed for the red corner. If it was my money I would bet it all on the red corner. This is an easy money bet against the blue corner, do yourself a favor and have fun racing and enjoy the smack talking but keep your money in your wallet if you don't want to lose it.
