Default What my dealer said about shocks!!

I went to my local dealer, in Canada and he told me that the TCS 3 rate, with adjustable rezzies and ZPS, are going to ride worse then my stockers, LOLOLOL. He said they will run harsher and that 3 rate and 4 rate shocks are not any good, and that I should go with a single rate shock. Then I told him that I was getting a rear ZPS rebuild to match the l,oewering on the front and he said that teh quad was going to be rougher because it was lowered the 2" or whatever it will lower it.LOLOLOLOL..What do yas think about this "mechanic"??? Just thought id let ya know what tha mechanics here in Ontario think about my setup.

unless your jumping i would go with a double rate because the springs will be stiffer on a triple rate shock unless you get them set up for a lighter rider than your weight, they should ask a series of questions when you get the shocks done to be made to your likings,i had mine set up stiff for jumping and MX ,but they soak up after they are broken in..JMO

he not talking out of his arss but he does have a point..
