actually I shot that deer, hozed just got his pic taken with it.

WOW thats gonna be nice, i finally got my first deer this year, 5 point , nothing like that though. Did you get it with a gun?

 

ya a 30-06 at about 75 yards... he came across a small opening.. 20 feet or so.. his nose was right to the ground and he was jogging fast... i barely had time to shoot... got him in the lungs... 1 shot... the way i like it.

 

Now the only prop is waiting for next year.

yup.. i cant wait to get back out there... the only problem is....
ive shot one hell of a big deer... the avergae buck around here goes about 150-170.... i will probably never shoot another that big.. kinda puts a damper on all my hopes of ever getting something bigger...

i aint sure how my deer ranked in the state this year... but in the top 10 i am sure... maybe top 5...

 

150 - 170 is average, wow thats kinda small compaired to Canada, but thats ok i shouldnt say anything your deer is still biger than mine. Next year you'll just have to shoot two. lol. Whats the spread and tine lenght?.
