does anyone know teh db level for the hmf pipe for a raptor?please help

 

hey ya paul its me the z400 freak with the blaster who is asking the same question to find out for you. ill keep lookin...somone help us find the db level for full hmf on a raptor.

I dont know the exact measurment but it is a couple db louder than a yoshi, thats for sure.

 

warrior, how do you know that it is louder?

 

it aint legal so there is your answer,my yosh was 101 so that might be 103 or 102 still illegal..

 

I ride with both, and a couple others.

 

My old Yosh measured 100 twice from 2 different DNR officers (with the full size spark arrestor). So if the HMF is louder it is probably about 102.

*BUT* my Raptor is louder than some others. I have a friend with a Raptor, same pipe, but his is a 686 and mine is a 660, and mine is way louder than his. Before and after mine was freshly repacked. We still haven't been able to figure out why.
