Default Just got my Duncan FatBoy4 pipe . . . NICE!

I just received my new pipe from Duncan Racing. It is beautiful! Say good bye to the tacky rubber insulators and mounting straps on my Yosh. The FB4 has beautifully welded on billet mounting tabs that bolt right up to the subframe. Overall the pipe just looks much higher quality than my Yosh pipe. Time will tell how it performs. I sent the headers and mid-pipe to JETHOT to get it coated with their shiny Sterling ceramic coating. It is ceramic coating that is really shiny like polished stainless or chrome. Hopefully I will have it back before my next race in 2 weeks.

For anyone who has been disappointed with the customer service at any performance or mail order shop - CALL DUNCAN RACING! I will now buy every part that I need from them, simply because their customer service is the best I have found in the ATV business so far. One day I was having a problem with my Edelbrock carb that I bought from somewhere else, but I knew Duncan raced and sold the EB carb, so I called them for some advice. Lenny Duncan spent over 1/2 hour on the phone with me ansering my questions and trying to find a solution for the problem. He hooked me up with the people at Edelbrock that I needed to talk to and they fixed everything.

Check back later for my review of the performance and sound of the Duncan FatBoy4 pipe.

Awesome! Ive never really heard anything about these pipes, but when I do hear something about them, its always good. I just dont think its a that well known pipe so that explains why I have heard so little. Well good luck with the pipe! And tell us how it performs!

Probably one reason why there are not too many out there is that they are EXPENSIVE. $600 for the pipe and a few jets, not including the turndown and spark arrestor. That is another $40 or so.

I did figure out that the TEC kit from my Yoshimura pipe will fit the Duncan pipe. Duncan does not make a quiet insert thing, so when I go riding in a strict DB area I can just use the Yosh TEC kit. I will keep you posted.

Sorry y'all,

Due to some unfortunate cicumstances I totally got out of quads shortly after I bought the Duncan pipe. Never got a chance to even put it on. It is still in the box in my garage waiting for some attention. Or maybe a new home. If anyone is interested just email me an offer. My email address is jhoops76@yahoo.com

Due to a promotion at work and much less free time, and a horrible experience at a local dealership, I just have not had the motivation to keep it up. Probably will sell the Raptor soon too. It has just been sitting in my garage for a year. I did ride it up and down the street a couple times. I bought a Mitsubishi Evolution, and now all my time and money goes into racing that.

Later,
