Default Raptor Head question

On the head for the Raptor, there is two 10mm allen bolts, one in each cam lobe area. What are they there for?

TIA

wash,

If it's the ones that I think you are referring to, it's the bolts that keep the exhaust rocker shafts from sliding side to side in the head.
Could be completely wrong, I am only going by my picture here. I haven't had a head off of a Raptor myself.

Thanks Knowsalot but those are not it. Those are in the head cover. The ones I'm refering to are under the cam lobes when the cam is sitting in the head itself. They don't show them as a part in the microfiche that I have.

Thanks.

wash,

OK,

I have a picture of exactly what you are referring to, but it doesn't show them to be allen head bolts.

If you have a fiche, go to the cylinderhead picture and look at item #5. It shows two of them that go underneath the camshaft.

Yep, those are what I'm refering to. I guess they do show them on the fiche. Ooops, but, I guarantee you they are 10mm allen screws/bolts. I stuck my 10mm allen socket into them over this weekend. They're in there tight and I was curios what they were there for.

Thanks.

I'm not saying yes or no, but it is the only thing that makes sense to me.....
....unless... How does the oil get from the top to the bottom? I have (and have watched people) pour a quart of oil in the head instead of letting it go through the tank, but I can't think of where the holes are that go from top to bottom. The allen don't ahve any holes in them do they?
