Once again another question from aaron! What can i do to get the weight of this d*mn thing down to a resonable figure? I cant remove my skid plates...my heavy rims and dirt devils will be replaced with 10" rims and razr tires eventually...i am buying an AC racing bumper...hope its lighter then the ugly stock bars....and other suggestions?

add a FMF megamax, K&N filter then rejet it and you wont have to worry bout the weight cause youll have plenty more sack already. Thats what I did for mine. Got the kit from albaaction.com and i'm 100% happy with it. Oh yea, get the warn 424 select as well. those two things will make a world of difference in handling and power hands down the best money I spent on mine. I have all dimondplate up front. also if you didnt already loose the racks that takes off some weight, get a lightweight grab bar, take off the ebrake cause it doesnt work anyways and get an aluminum block off plate. they are the same plate for shees, wolverines, warriors, and a number of other yamys. go to a durablue axel, carry helium ballons, realize you didnt buy a race quad it will never be as light but that doesnt mean with some engine work you cant spank a good deal of them in the woods where the wolverine is home sweet home.

Dont fill the tank all the way up You can buy lighter weight stuff for the wolverine, but it is really light to start with. Otherwise the wolverine is about Bare-bones on a 4wd you can get. Adding more Hp would make it fee lighter. Let us know what you come up with.

checkout prm atv they have a great bumper ,I bought one last year and saw big weight savings. It made popping wheelies easier. Mine motor is stock with no mods. My wolverine is still in the process, I have aluminum skidpalte,a-arm guards, baja front bumper, shock covers ,and bigger oil cooler with relocation braket. Be careful removing your stock cooler ,or you'll need a replacement like me from Four Stroke Tech.

Dont buy a megamax....espically if you want to save weight....no offence, but they are kind've heavy....and are not the best performance....buy a white brothers carbon series if you want to save weight.
