About how long does this job take? I know all about getting the side cover on and off, and have been into the motor before. (one-way, trans, broke valve). I think I have all the parts I'll need.

I think I should be able to do mine again in in hour. Being that one screw had to be placed on the side cover before placing it onto the case and be sure to have the right size of one tooo I did both of these things while doing mine the first time and it took about 2 and a half hours in the back of my toy hauler while I was at the dunes. Unbolt the top motor mount and the bottom front mount as well as your silencer. Put the bike on it's side and move the motor up a bit. Unbolt the right footpeg and the external oil lines from the clutch cover only, remove the water pump and the bolt under it. Try really hard not to strip anything, have a set of snap ring pliers to remove the clutch arm and if you're quick and dont screw up you'll be done in an hour. Usually I take 2.
