That sux. I heard about this when I got back to the shop yesterday after work. We've done work at their buildings in the past. I'm sure I've met him before, just can't place a face.
Here is an article in our local paper about the accident.
San Bernardino Sun.

Our bad reputation lies with our children. That is what gets most attention with the media. Back when the three wheelers came out the kids were geting hurt and the people who dont ride direct their compassion towards the children and the negativity is with the machines. My son will not ride a machine without a helmet, Because I will be there and will not allow it. It starts with me as a parent. S ome of these kids out there are maybe a little spoiled and they want what they want . When we see these kids out there we go to them and talk to them and see if their parents are involved and if they know they dont have a helmet. It is sad to hear someone getting killed. We must set examples not statistics. If not for us and our children for them and there children. When I do something stupid on my Quad, my 5 yr old is the first one to tell me so, We are Responsable !!!!!!!!

yea the press is really starting to make this sport look bad. i mean some people dont even like the sound or look of them and call the cops on you. i mean im sry for moss but it was his bad that he didnt wear a helmet let alone a seat belt. at a local riding spot near me ownd by my friends dad is now banning t.vs b/c some idiot decided to do wheelies without a helmet hit a rock and got a concusion. the should really take a poll of wut atv riders think about this sport/hobbie. we dont mean to hurt anyone we just wont to have fun...

Sorry to hear that someone lost their life over something as stupid as not wearing a helmet. Thats what you get when you think that you are 10 feet tall and bullet proof and have done it a 100 times before. A couple of weeks ago on the Bombardier form there was 6 dudes on one quad doing wheelies and other stunts and not one of those jacka$$ had a helmet on!! Maybe one day when they are picking up pieces of their skull off the street maybe then they will know what a helmet is for!! Thats my 2 cents!!

it is very sad that someone had to lose their life, but it is pretty pathetic that it takes that much for people to realize that they should wear protective gear. i think it is pis pour that people dont wear helmets and what not. if they liked the sport at all they would respect it enough to wear a helmet, because that puts a bad reputation on everybody and people need to realize that.

Something kind of familiar in a nearby town yesterday. Some guy was riding, don't know what, but he hit a huge bump and lost control. His quad flipped/rolled and it broke his neck...he wasn't wearing a helmet either
