i dont want to use sand paper or anything because i dont want to scratch up the chrome.
any ideas guys?

 

s.o.s pads...they do great on my chrome pipes and remove rust awsome. the finish is real nice.

 

do you use any cleaner or anything? or just the plain pad?

i get the sos pad damp b4 i use it. then after i use the sos pad i wipe it off with a damp cloth. then if i really want it lookin nice i'll use chrome polish but the sos pad alone gets the rust off and makes it look nice.

 

oh yeah.... don't use sandpaper..lol its will scratch the sh*t outta it. and ruin the finish.

 

A really good chrome polish will remove rust or tarnish on your pipe.

 

The rust on my pipe was abit to bad to get it off with a sos pad. so I just painted it gloss black.

 

he has a 2 stoke expansion chamber tho. i don't think he wants to paint black over his chrome. unless he wanted a sleeper[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

 

Chrome would look better anyway!
I didnt really care what color mine was, I just didnt want a rusty color lol

After I rode the paint "baked" onto the pipe. It was smoking and sweating. I didnt know if it was ruined, but it came out OK.

 

I usually get my girlfriend to clean my pipe
