I had seen a post of someone purchasing a procom cdi and they were happy with the results. Then I saw a banner ad at the top of the page advertising procom. So I clicked on it and decided to check it out. Their descriptions are vague and prices are very, very low. 129 bucks. The picture for the raptor 660 is actually 2 pictures of the raptor80 and raptor50. now if they cant even get the right pictures on the site, should I really trust that they know enough about my cdi to spend money and rely on the part to get me home and get me acrossed the finish line first??? Not to mention that the pictures are from the yamaha site and are copyrighted. That means that they are illegal for commercial use. Any body know anything about this company? Am I being to hard on them? Is their product any good?

 

The box for the predator is 400 dollars , i dont think they had the right info with the right machine

 

they dont have any products for the mini raptors. the predator cdi is 129 according to the website. Only 59 for the yfz cdi

 

I boutgh one for my 04 raptor told them i won it on ebay for 99 bucks and i only paid like 100 with shipping. the only thing is that the reverse light blinks like when its runnign fo r a while without moving it, but its blinking all the time. i called them and they told me to send it back and tehy would replace it with one for an 04. it runs good it doesnt top off like teh stock one, it has faster top end speed. most of the time YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR.

So did they send you one and it didn't blink anymore. My understanding is that they all blink. I emailed big gun and they said there's blinks also.

 

Yes, mine blinks to from Procom Ingineering. But they said they were going to have a newer one available soon and I can swap it out. But each time I email them they are still waiting for the new one to arrive.

i sent it out today, i was told to send it in and they would send me a new one for 04 because the 01-03 had that blinking light. thats what i was told you might wanna call them and ask. 1-949-837 8183 by the way did anyone have a problem that the red light would stay on and have teh revlimiter kick in like it was in reverse while going foward?

 

I did call them, they said it will be out soon. I do have the 04 model.

 

my procomm works GREAT i can handle the blinkin light for how much it helped
