Default New Raptor!

Hey Guys! Just signed up as a member to this forum as I just purchased an 03' Raptor 660R. Its blue and temporarily all stock! But I'm looking into putting some mods on it and came up with this stuff:

CT Racing Pipe w/ Headers
Jet Kit
Stage 2 Cam
Pro Design Pro Flow Air Box Adapter
Air Filter (If not same thing as Air Box Adaptor)
Pre Filter
Nerf Bars
GTY-R Lights (Depending on how much )

Any other stuff you guys recommend?

Any suggestions/help is appreciated- Sort of confused on the whole airbox and air filter thing... I would probably get the Dynojet Stage 3 Power Kit with (probably) the racing cam. What do you guys think? Anyway, here are some pics I took real quick today.

Oh and what kind of oil should I get for my Raptor?

Thanks a bunch.

Well that brings up a good point, my suspension squeaks a little... do I oil it? I think I'm going to pick up a service manual from the Yamaha dealer...

Nice quad, the squeak is probably your rear shock and just may need to lube the whole bike.

If you need a service or microfiche go Click Here thanks to wshrdskn.

Thanks guys! Yeah I am really happy with it, it looks awesome. Anyone know what exhaust I should get? I know White Brothers is awesome, but I read this article on these guys' page and seems to be their product is really good. Check it out!

Here!

Shows dynos of all the different exhausts with the CT Racing pipe pushing 47HP if I remember right...

If you're plannin on puttin a stage 2 cam in there you have to get new springs too, if you don't want to get new springs then you'll have to get a stage 1.

Don't waste your money on the stage 3 power kit...just get a stage 2 jetkit, it's everything you'll need.

Look at my pics to see what the pro flow kit looks like, I cut off my box but you can see how it works still.

I recommend just simple Yamalube, it hasn't ever steered me wrong! I also believe it works better in Yamaha's.

Chris
2 things you might want to get are a carbon fiber hood and a billet replacement key holder. I have a pic of my blue 1 with the carbon hood in my photo's. Have fun with it and respect it because it can hurt you.
Thanks Chris
